About Me

My name is Barbara Lee and I live in an enchanted home.  But I do not live down a yellow brick road or in a hobbit cottage in the shire, I wish I did.  My home is a Southern California ranch house undistinguishable from those surrounding it.  But open the door and the magic begins.

A four foot Hare named Claude will greet you at the door.  He will invite you in with a wave of his paw.  Claude came to live with us a number of years ago and apparently he means to stay.  He enjoys helping around the house and is not afraid to offer his opinions on everything from the state of the economy to how much butter I use.  There are fairies in the garden, of course.  I try to keep them happy by planting flowers and building them little homes.  Anything to distract them from taunting Bella, the French Bulldog.

I am married to a kind and gentle Ogre who requires a great deal of care.  Fortunately, I like to cook and spend much of my time in the kitchen appeasing his appetite.  So step through the looking glass and join me in cooking, gardening, and learning about Claude’s colorful past.  And live your life enchanted no matter where you are.

Hello, I saw your blog after your subscribing to our show’s youtube page. We have been expanding our show’s site to include things more than our videos – including pinterest pins and interesting blogs like yours.
I would love to feature some of your entries to our website if your interested. Keep up the good work!
The new pages being worked on as mentioned is the left column called “Quick Topics” with a small blurb and link. The food page is the first one to go live like that at http://homeandlifestyletv.com/food1a.html

Have a great day!
Christian
