Esperanza Dresses for Fall

Esperanza Dresses for Fall

by Barbara Lee on October 12, 2012

Esperanza moved to the front entry to give an autumn welcome to all who enter. The change of season is subtle here in Southern California, so I like to gently coax some fall color into my decor.  I’m not a huge halloween fan but I do like the warm golden hues of this cooler season. And Esperanza is ready for a new seasonal outfit.

I gather together small orange silk flowers, a necklace, ribbon, brooch, and some mini papier mache pumpkins.

Esperanza waits patiently by a vase of branches and Japanese lanterns.

I wove small silk roses into her crown.

She is happy already.

A subtle bronze necklace seems right for fall.

An orange ribbon accents her waist.

I attached an amber and gold brooch for some eye catching sparkle.

She holds a jolly papier mache pumpkin that is just enough to hint at halloween.

Thanks to Esperanza, Autumn has arrived in style to this Magical Home and Garden.
